Volunteer Service at the HOPAD

NAMASTA AND WELCOME TO HOPAD

HOPAD is our newly establishing organization in Nepal for the welfare of children and women with new ideas. On our part, working with international & national volunteer would be good for children and association for the good correspondent between different views and ideas for the welfare of concern.

We can say that working with volunteers has proved to be a culturally and spiritually rewarding experience for us. They can help us in many ways, by teaching our children, telling about their culture, teaching our children new games, or helping to the administration for fundraising programs and planning for the HOPAD.

There have been some cases, volunteer may help to finding the best ideas for the children support programs and help them.

How can you be a volunteer with us?

You have taken the first step by visiting our web site. If you are interested to volunteer with us, please contact us for volunteer services / vacancies and the current situation in Nepal.

We also ask Candidates to submit an application and CV by e-mail. After receiving the application, HOPAD reviews it and informs the candidate in due course whether they are accepted into the volunteer program. Daily routine for volunteer

In the afternoon, the children are back from school within 4 p.m., and their classroom activities start at 5.30 p.m., supervised by our teachers. The volunteer is welcomed to provide extracurricular activities before the afternoon session, and they can help our teachers with the children during the classroom preparation.

During the day, we welcome any help with the administration all volunteers who are interested to visit at children’s home really they welcome to teach & play with the children (English or other subjects) and create new extracurricular activities to the children and concern women too.

The times of these sessions and activities has to be adjusted to the school routine of the children. Our children usually get up at 6 a.m. and start to participate in morning class at 7:00 to 8:30 am. After tea, they start getting prepared for school with food between 8.30-9.00 a.m. depending on the school they attend.

There is an opportunity to give morning lessons in our classroom. of the HOPAD. Every day, will not happen so on as for the knowledge of volunteer they can develop new ideas to make new programs for the children, tours and fund rising programs.

They can also move and observe to the different places of Nepal. In the evening, the children have dinner at our classroom, after 7 p.m., and go to bed between 9-10 p.m.

Costs and services


The cost and payment of the Volunteer placement are detailed in the down load Volunteer Agreement. We offer all details to the volunteer for the duration of his/her placement at the HOPAD.

As volunteer service is not just for cost and services but for good co-operation / relation and develop new ideas for the children.
